• אני שומעת אותם מדברים בחדר, אבל אני לא רואה אותם מהמטבח.: I hear them talking in the room, but I do not see them from the kitchen.
• אני לא שומע את המורה, כי היא מדברת בשקט.: I can't hear the teacher, because she is speaking quietly.
• היא סיפרה לי על השיר החדש ששמעה ברדיו.: She told me about the new song that she heard on the radio.
• יש בעיה בחיבור למחשב שלי, ולכן אני לא שומעת את המוזיקה.: There is a problem with the connection to my computer, so I cannot hear the music.
