Questions & Answers about Vuoi una fetta di salame?
In English we say "salami", but here it's salame. Why does it end in an "e"?
Vuoi is the informal "you want". How would I offer this politely to someone I don't know well?
Why do we need the word di here? Can't I just say una salame fetta like "a salami slice"?
How would I ask "Do you want some salami?" instead of asking about a single slice?
You would use the partitive article del (which combines the preposition di and the masculine article il). To offer an unspecified amount of salami, you would ask: Vuoi del salame?
