Questions & Answers about Quella superstizione è irrazionale, ma prima di uscire ci penso sempre.
Why does ci mean "about it" here? I thought it meant "us" or "there".
You're right that ci often means "us" or "there"! But it has another job: it can replace the preposition a plus an object. The verb pensare (to think) requires the preposition a when you think about something (pensare a). Instead of repeating penso a quella superstizione (I think about that superstition), we replace the a phrase with the little word ci, giving us ci penso (I think about it).
Why is there a di in prima di uscire?
Could I put sempre between ci and penso, like in English ("I always think")?
Why is it Quella superstizione and not Quell' superstizione?
Superstizione is a feminine word. We only use the apostrophe form (quell') for feminine words if they start with a vowel (like quell'amica). Because superstizione starts with a consonant, it uses the regular feminine singular form quella.
