Questions & Answers about Com a nossa experiência, recomendamos-lhe este caminho.

Why is the pronoun attached to the end of the verb as recomendamos-lhe instead of going before it?

The translation says "to you", but doesn't lhe usually mean "to him" or "to her"?
lhe is the indirect object pronoun for the third person singular, which includes ele (he), ela (she), and the formal "you", você. In this sentence's translation it means "to you" (formal), but depending on the conversation, it could just as easily mean "to him" or "to her".

Why do we use este here for "this path"?
este is the demonstrative word used for "this" when the object is physically or conceptually close to the speaker. By saying este caminho, the speaker implies the path is right here in front of them, perhaps on a map they are pointing at or a trail they are standing next to.
