Why do we use tuyo after the noun instead of just saying tu perro?
Tu perro means "your dog" (referring to a specific dog), while un perro tuyo means "a dog of yours" (one of potentially several). When we use an indefinite article like un or una to say "a [noun] of mine/yours," we must put the long-form possessive adjective (mío, tuyo, suyo, etc.) after the noun.
Why is it just otra raza and not una otra raza for "another breed"?
In Spanish, the word otro (or otra) already means "another" or "other." You never put an indefinite article like un or una in front of it. Saying una otra is a very common trap for English speakers, but it is always just otra plus the noun.
Why do we use es (ser) instead of está (estar) for the breed?
We use ser because a dog's breed (raza) is a permanent, defining characteristic or classification. Estar is generally used for temporary states, conditions, or locations.
Why is it mucha agilidad rather than mucho agilidad?
Nouns ending in -dad (like agilidad, universidad, ciudad) are almost always feminine in Spanish. Because of this, the adjective describing how much agility there is must match the feminine gender, becoming mucha.
