Why do we use ti instead of tú?
In Spanish, when "you" comes immediately after a preposition like para (for), de (from/of), or a (to), it changes form. You must use the prepositional pronoun ti instead of the subject pronoun tú. That is why "for you" translates to para ti.
Why doesn't ti have an accent mark? I thought pronouns like mí and tú had them.
Accent marks on short words are usually just there to tell apart words that are spelled the same but mean different things. For example, tú means "you" and tu means "your". Because there is no other word spelled ti in Spanish, it doesn't need an accent mark!
Why is it ese mensaje and not eso mensaje?
Ese is the masculine word for "that" when it is placed directly in front of a noun. Eso also means "that", but it is a neutral word used for abstract ideas, situations, or pointing at an unknown object. You never put eso directly in front of a noun.
