Learn Spanish (Latin America): Estudio español cada día.

Cada día means "every day" (literally "each day"). Just like siempre (always) or a veces (sometimes), it tells us how often an action happens. You will also frequently hear the phrase todos los días used to mean the exact same thing!

Why is it just español and not el español?

When a language directly follows a verb of learning, speaking, or studying (like estudiar, hablar, or aprender), we usually drop the word el. If you were making Spanish the subject of the sentence, like "Spanish is fun," you would need the article: El español es divertido.

The word día ends in "a". Doesn't that make it feminine?

Not this one! Día is a very common exception to the rule. It is a masculine word. For example, if you wanted to say "a good day," you would use masculine words: un buen día.

Why does the "i" in día have an accent mark?

The accent mark breaks up the vowel sounds. Without it, the "i" and "a" would blend into a single syllable. The accent tells you to pronounce it strongly as two distinct beats: dee-ah.
