Questions & Answers about Vou apresentar o plano em janeiro.
Where is the word for "am" in Vou apresentar?
In Portuguese, the near future is simpler than in English! Instead of "I am going to present", you just use the verb ir (to go) conjugated for the person speaking, followed directly by the infinitive of the main verb. Vou already means "I am going", and apresentar means "to present". You don't need to add extra words for "am" or "to".
Why isn't there an eu (I) at the beginning of the sentence?
Why is janeiro written with a lowercase letter?
Unlike in English, months of the year (like janeiro, fevereiro, março) are written with a lowercase starting letter in Portuguese, unless they appear at the very beginning of a sentence.
Why do we use just em instead of no or na before janeiro?
