Why is there no word for you at the start? Shouldn’t it be Ti si se naljutila?
Croatian often drops subject pronouns when they are not needed. The verb form already tells you the person:
- si = you are / you have in this past-tense structure, so it already shows 2nd person singular
- naljutila shows the speaker is addressing one female person
So Naljutila si se is completely natural.
You can say Ti si se naljutila if you want to add emphasis, for example:
- Ti si se naljutila, ne ja. = You got angry, not me.
Without emphasis, leaving out ti is more normal.
