Usages of xiǎng
我 想 说 我 很 忙。wǒ xiǎng shuō wǒ hěn máng.
I want to say I am very busy.
她 想 听 我 说 吗？tā xiǎng tīng wǒ shuō ma?
Does she want to listen to me speak?
她 还 想 买 那 本 书。tā hái xiǎng mǎi nà běn shū.
She still wants to buy that book.
我 还 想 听 你 说 你 的 名字。wǒ hái xiǎng tīng nǐ shuō nǐ de míngzi.
I still want to hear you say your name.
我 买 了 手机， 她 也 想 买。wǒ mǎi le shǒujī, tā yě xiǎng mǎi.
I bought a phone; she also wants to buy one.
我 还 没 去 过 北京， 我 想 去。wǒ hái méi qù guo Běijīng, wǒ xiǎng qù.
I haven’t been to Beijing yet; I want to go.
她 今天 有 事情， 也 想 让 你 帮忙。tā jīntiān yǒu shìqíng, yě xiǎng ràng nǐ bāngmáng.
She has things to do today and also wants to ask you for help.
我 想 让 她 先 回 家。wǒ xiǎng ràng tā xiān huí jiā.
I want to let her go home first.
你 想 去 超市， 还是 去 饭店？nǐ xiǎng qù chāoshì, háishi qù fàndiàn?
Do you want to go to the supermarket or go to a restaurant?
我 想 去 超市 或者 在 家 吃 晚饭。wǒ xiǎng qù chāoshì huòzhě zài jiā chī wǎnfàn.
I want to go to the supermarket or eat dinner at home.
虽然 她 不 认识 我 的 同事， 但是 她 想 认识 他。suīrán tā bú rènshi wǒ de tóngshì, dànshì tā xiǎng rènshi tā.
Although she doesn’t know my coworker, she wants to get to know him.
