### Expressing a Lack of Intention

When a storm stubbornly refuses to end or a delayed bus just won't arrive, you can express that it "has no intention" of doing so. Turkish forms this by combining a genitive subject with a possessed future participle and `yok`.

**Genitive Subject + Verb Stem + `-(y)AcAk` + Possessive Suffix + `yok`**

Because possessive suffixes start with a vowel, consonant mutation softens the `k` in the future suffix `-(y)AcAk` to `ğ`.

For example, with `dinmek` (to cease) and a third-person subject ("its"):
`din` + `ecek` + `i` ➔ **dineceği**

To say "The storm has no intention of subsiding," you make "storm" the owner by adding the genitive suffix (`fırtınanın`), follow it with the possessed verb, and add `yok` (there is not) at the end. Literally, you are saying "The storm's future subsiding does not exist."
