Usages of po

• Kamusta po kayo, lola?: How are you, grandmother?
• Pakiabot mo po ang masarap na kape sa lamesa.: Please pass the delicious coffee to the table.
• Saan po ang opisina ninyo, at anong oras po kayo pumapasok?: Where is your office, and what time do you come in?
• Ano po ang pangalan ninyo, lola?: What is your name, grandmother? (polite)
• Tuloy po kayo sa bahay; may kape sa kusina.: Please come in to the house; there is coffee in the kitchen.
• Pakibigay po ninyo ang resibo sa akin.: Please give the receipt to me. (polite)
• Pakiabot po ang unan ni Lola at ang kumot niya.: Please pass Grandmother's pillow and her blanket.
• Sa tawiran po kayo dumaan; sa kaliwa ang ospital at sa kanan ang botika.: Please go through the crosswalk; the hospital is on the left and the pharmacy is on the right.
• Pakiabot po ang papel at bolpen; kailangan ko ng pirma ninyo.: Please pass the paper and pen; I need your signature.
• Pakiabot po ninyo ang mangkok at ang tasa, dahil kakain tayo ng sabaw at iinom ng kape.: Please pass the bowl and the cup, because we will eat soup and drink coffee.
