Why are we using شکنجهاش and نجاتمان instead of using را with independent pronouns?

Notice how شکنجهاش has a half-space before the ending, but نجاتمان is fully connected. Why is that?
This is determined by the final letter of the noun. شکنجه ends in a silent 'heh' (ه), so we must use a half-space (zero-width non-joiner) before adding the enclitic اش to keep the word readable and preserve the final vowel sound. On the other hand, نجات ends in a standard consonant (ت), so the enclitic مان connects directly to it as a single block of text.
The translation says '...they do not torture him and he rescues us.' How do we know who is doing what without independent subject pronouns?
Farsi relies heavily on verb endings to show the subject. In the first clause, نکنند ends in ـَند (they), so an implied 'they' are performing the action on the object ـَش (him). In the second clause, دهد ends in ـَد (he/she), which means the previous object ('him') has smoothly become the new subject ('he'). The new object is then attached as ـِمان (us). While English needs explicit pronouns for this switch, Farsi handles it entirely through verb morphology.

The sentence is governed by the opening phrase امیدواریم که (We hope that).
