Questions & Answers about ما برای این ماجراجویی هر چه که بخواهی میخریم.
Why is the verb بخواهی in the subjunctive here instead of the indicative?
The phrase هر چه که (whatever) creates an indefinite reference. Because we do not know exactly what things you will want, Farsi requires the present subjunctive بخواهی for the verb that follows it, rather than the regular present indicative میخواهی.
Is the word که strictly necessary in the phrase هر چه که بخواهی?
In spoken Farsi, the که is very often dropped, shortening the phrase to هر چه بخواهی. However, keeping it is perfectly correct and helps clearly link the word چه to the dependent clause that follows.
The English translation says 'we will buy', but میخریم is the present tense. Why not use the formal future tense?
In everyday Farsi, the present indicative like میخریم is the standard way to express future actions, especially when the plan is certain or going to happen soon. The actual future tense (خواهیم خرید) is usually reserved for formal writing or speech and would sound unnatural here.
How is the word ماجراجویی (adventure) put together?
It is built from ماجرا (event or story) and جو (the root for seeking, from the verb to search). Together, ماجراجو means an adventurer. Adding the ی suffix at the end turns it into the abstract noun ماجراجویی (adventuring or adventure).
