Questions & Answers about من ایمیل‌ها را خیلی کم چک می‌کنم چون مشغول هستم.

Why do kheyli and kam appear next to each other here?

kheyli means very and kam means little or rarely. You can combine them to say kheyli kam, meaning very little or very rarely. In Farsi, adverbs of degree usually sit right before the verb they describe, which is why they appear just before chek mikonam.

I remember ra is an object marker. Why is it used after imil-ha?

ra tells us that the direct object is specific. Because the sentence refers to specific emails rather than just emails in general, we add ra directly after the plural noun imil-ha.

chek mikonam translates to I check. Is chek borrowed from English?

Yes! Farsi borrows many modern tech words from English. The verb is a compound made of chek plus kardan (to do). In the present tense for the I form, kardan becomes mikonam, so literally this translates to I do check.

I see hastam at the end. Why isn't there a separate word for I in the second half of the sentence?

hastam means I am. Because the verb ending -am already tells us who is doing the action, you do not need to repeat the pronoun man (I) after chon (because). Farsi frequently drops pronouns when they are clear from the verb.
