No matter who or what (har kas / kâri ham ke)

No Matter Who

To express that a situation will happen regardless of who is involved, Farsi uses the phrase هر کس هم که (no matter who).

Because this introduces a hypothetical or indefinite condition, the verb in this clause must always be in the Present Subjunctive.

Notice in the following examples how the verb inside the "no matter who" clause takes the subjunctive form, while the main action uses standard indicative or imperative forms.

No Matter How Much

When the outcome depends on a degree or amount, use هر چقدر هم که (no matter how much). The grammar rule remains exactly the same: follow it with the present subjunctive.

Let's look at how this works when discussing conditions on the ski slope (پیست).

This rule applies seamlessly to other scenarios on the mountain, such as waiting for the cable car (تله‌کابین).

No Matter What You Do

To say "no matter what" in the context of an action (literally: "no matter what work"), use the phrase هر کاری هم که.

Skill and Safety on the Slopes

Whether you are a beginner (مبتدی) or highly skilled (ماهر), winter sports come with risks. To talk about mountain safety, you will need the word for carelessness (بی‌احتیاطی) and the verb to prevent (جلوگیری کردن).

Whenever you talk about these extreme conditions, remember that taking precautions is vital (حیاتی).
