Why does genoeg come before the noun sfeer here?
When genoeg (enough) is used with a noun, it goes before the noun, just like in English (genoeg sfeer = enough atmosphere). However, keep in mind that when you use genoeg with an adjective, it must go after it (for example, gezellig genoeg = cozy enough).
Why is the word in placed right before the comma?
It is part of the separable verb inrichten, which means "to furnish" or "to decorate". In a main clause, the verb splits: the conjugated part (richten) takes the second position, and the prefix (in) gets pushed to the end of the clause.
Why doesn't the verb go to the end of the sentence after want?
The word want (because) connects two main clauses without changing the word order. If the sentence had used the other word for "because" (omdat), the second part would be a subclause and the verb would move to the end: ... omdat er niet genoeg sfeer is.
Why do we use niet here instead of geen to negate sfeer?
Normally, you use geen to negate an undefined or uncountable noun (for example, er is geen sfeer means "there is no atmosphere"). However, because the quantity word genoeg is present, we are specifically negating the amount ("not enough"), so we use niet.
