Questions & Answers about Yenilenebilir enerji sistemleri, maliyet bakımından da avantajlıdır.
How does the word bakımından function here, and why does it have possessive and ablative suffixes?
The word bakımından literally translates to 'from its aspect'. It forms a noun compound with maliyet (cost). First, the possessive suffix gives us maliyet bakımı (the aspect of cost). Then, the ablative case suffix -ndan (from) is added. Together, maliyet bakımından acts as a postpositional phrase meaning 'from the aspect of cost' or 'in terms of cost'.
What is the grammatical breakdown of the adjective Yenilenebilir?
It is built from the verb root yenilemek (to renew). Adding the passive suffix -n gives yenilenmek (to be renewed). Adding the potential suffix -ebil makes it yenilenebilmek (to be able to be renewed). Finally, the aorist (simple present) suffix -ir turns the verb into an adjective meaning 'renewable'.
Why is the particle da placed right after bakımından instead of somewhere else in the sentence?
The particle da (also/too) always emphasizes the word or phrase immediately preceding it. By placing it directly after maliyet bakımından, the sentence specifically highlights that these systems are advantageous 'in terms of cost too' (most likely in addition to their environmental benefits).
Does the -dır suffix on avantajlıdır change the meaning, or could I just say ?
