### Expressing Opinions with *göre*

The postposition *göre* expresses opinions or perspectives, translating to "according to" or "in [someone's] opinion".

It requires the preceding noun or pronoun to be in the **dative case** (*-(y)e* / *-(y)a*). If the word has a possessive ending, the dative suffix follows it. Note that the pronouns *ben* (I) and *sen* (you) irregularly become *bana* and *sana*.

### Cultural and Social Perspectives

When talking about societal norms or traditions, simply attach the dative ending to the noun. Remember that nouns ending in *k* usually soften to *ğ* before a vowel (for example, *gelenek* becomes *geleneğe*).
