Why do we use ir here instead of conjugating it like vas?
When you have two verbs working together to express an idea like "can go", only the first verb is conjugated. Since puedes already shows who is doing the action (you), the second verb, ir (to go), stays in its basic, unchanged dictionary form (the infinitive). This is the standard rule for combining poder with another verb.
The dictionary verb is poder. Why does it change to puedes with a "ue"?
Poder is a "stem-changing" verb. When you conjugate it for tú (you), the o in the middle changes to ue, making it puedes. You will see this same vowel change for yo puedo (I can) and él/ella puede (he/she can).
Why is "with me" written as one word, conmigo?
In Spanish, when you combine the word con (with) and the pronoun for "me", they merge into the special single word conmigo. You never say "con mí" or "con yo". As a bonus tip, "with you" has a similar special word: contigo.
Why does the sentence use al parque instead of a el parque?
In Spanish, whenever the preposition a (to) is followed directly by the masculine word el (the), they must squish together to form the contraction al. Saying a el is grammatically incorrect, so we always combine them into al parque.
