You already have *în opinia mea* (in my opinion) and *mi se pare că* (it seems to me that). **După părerea mea**, literally "according to my opinion", is another common way to give your view. Change the possessive for other people: *după părerea ta*, *după părerea lui*. To ask, say **Ce părere ai?** to a friend, or *Ce părere aveți?* politely or to several people. Add *despre* for the topic.

### Point of view

In **punctul de vedere** a possessive usually goes in the middle: *punctul meu de vedere*, *punctul tău de vedere*. Without the article, **din punct de vedere** + an adjective means "in … terms": *din punct de vedere financiar* (financially speaking). With a possessive the article comes back: *din punctul meu de vedere* (from my point of view).

### Wishes

*Aș vrea* (I would like) works anywhere. **Aș dori** is more formal: use it in shops, hotels and offices. **Mi-ar plăcea** (I'd love to) works like *îmi place*: the person who would like something goes in the dative.

### Afraid, hard

Like *mi-e frică* and *mi-e dor*, these are built on **mi-e** (to me is). **Mi-e teamă** (I'm afraid) takes *de* + a noun, *să* + a verb, or *că* + a clause; as in English, *mi-e teamă că* also softens bad news. **Mi-e greu** + *să* means "it's hard for me to".

### Liking a person

*Îmi place filmul* means "I like the movie". In everyday speech, Romanians often add **de** when the one they like is a person: **îmi place de el**. It often means you fancy them.
