Why are the months janeiro and fevereiro written with lowercase letters?
In Portuguese, months of the year are not capitalized unless they appear at the very beginning of a sentence.
Do we always use the word em before a month?
Yes! When you want to say that something happens in a certain month, you always use the preposition em. You do not need to add the word for the, so it never merges into no or na before a month.
Why doesn't the word muito change to match the plural word Nós?
Because here muito means a lot and it is describing the action word trabalhamos (we work). When muito describes an action, it is an adverb and never changes its shape. It only becomes plural (like muitos) when it describes a noun, like saying many days.
Can trabalhamos also mean we worked in the past tense?
