Questions & Answers about Non accetto nessun'esitazione da te.
Why does nessuno become nessun' with an apostrophe here?
Because esitazione is a feminine noun starting with a vowel. The feminine form nessuna drops its final -a and replaces it with an apostrophe to make pronunciation smoother.
Is nessun' only used for feminine nouns starting with a vowel?
Yes! If the noun were masculine and started with a vowel (like amico), you would use nessun without an apostrophe (like nessun amico). The apostrophe is the clue that the underlying word is the feminine nessuna.
Why is there a Non at the start of the sentence if nessun' already means "no"?
Why use da te instead of di te for "from you"?
The preposition da is used to indicate origin or source, which perfectly matches "from you" in this context. Di is mostly used for possession or describing what something is made of.
