Why is the word for "have" here aie instead of as?
Aie is the informal command form of avoir (to have) for tu (you). Avoir is totally irregular when giving commands! If you were just stating a fact like "You have a smile", you would use the normal present tense Tu as. But because you are telling someone to do it ("Have a smile!"), you drop the pronoun and use the special command form aie.
How do you pronounce aie?
It is pronounced just like the French vowel é or the word et (and). It sounds very similar to the English letter "A". The e at the end is completely silent.
