Questions & Answers about Vous allez déménager quand ?
Why is déménager in the infinitive (unconjugated) form here?
This sentence uses the near future tense, which translates to "going to [do something]". To form it, you only conjugate the helping verb aller (here, Vous allez). The main action verb that follows always stays in its full, unchanged infinitive form (déménager).
Can I use déménager if I want to say I am going to move my car or move my arm?
Why is quand at the very end of the sentence?
In spoken, everyday French, it is very common to keep the normal statement word order (Vous allez déménager) and just tack the question word (quand) onto the end. You could also put it at the beginning by saying Quand est-ce que vous allez déménager ?
