Questions & Answers about طرح جدید محله فردا پذیرفته خواهد شد.
How do we break down the verb پذیرفته خواهد شد to mean 'will be accepted'?
This is the future passive tense. It is made of two parts: the past participle of the main verb, پذیرفته ('accepted'), followed by the future tense of the helper verb شدن ('to become/be'), which is خواهد شد ('it will be'). Together, they form 'will be accepted'.
How exactly is the past participle پذیرفته formed?
You start with the infinitive of the verb 'to accept,' which is پذیرفتن (paziroftan). To get the past stem, drop the final ن, leaving پذیرفت (paziroft). Finally, add the suffix ـه (-eh) to the end to make it a past participle: پذیرفته (pazirofteh).
How do the invisible Ezafe vowels connect the phrase طرح جدید محله?
The phrase needs two Ezafe sounds (an 'e' sound) to link the words together. The first connects the noun 'plan' (طرح) to its adjective 'new' (جدید). The second connects that descriptive phrase to the possessor, 'neighborhood' (محله). You pronounce it as tarh-e jadid-e mahalle.
Would I hear پذیرفته خواهد شد in casual, everyday conversation?
It is unlikely. The formal future tense using خواهد is mostly reserved for written text, news, or very formal speech. In everyday spoken Farsi, people usually use the present tense to talk about the near future, or they might use a more conversational compound verb like قبول میشه (literally 'it becomes accepted') instead.
