How does the word سوخته work as an adjective here?
سوخته is a past participle. As you are learning in this lesson, it is formed by taking the past stem of the verb سوختن (to burn), which is سوخت, and adding ـه (-e). In Farsi, past participles are frequently used as adjectives, so سوخته translates perfectly to the English adjective burned.
Why does the object marker را come after سوخته instead of right after the noun پردههای?
