Questions & Answers about شرایط سخت است، پس وسایل را ببر.
Why do we use pas here, and could we use banâbarin instead?
pas means "so" or "then" and connects a situation to a result or instruction. You could absolutely use banâbarin (therefore) instead, but pas is shorter and much more natural in everyday, casual conversation, especially before a simple command.
The English translation says "conditions are", but the Persian uses the singular verb ast (is). Why?
In Persian, when the subject is inanimate (not a living person or animal), it usually takes a singular verb, even if the noun is plural. Since šarâyeț (conditions) is an inanimate plural, it feels most natural to use the singular ast instead of the plural hastand.
Why do we need the word râ after vasâyel (equipment)?
râ is the definite direct object marker. Because you are telling someone to take the specific equipment (rather than just some general equipment), vasâyel needs râ to show it is a specific, known object receiving the action of the verb.
How is the verb bebar formed to make a command?
bebar is the imperative (command) form of the verb bordan (to take or carry). To make an informal command for "you", you take the present stem of the verb, which is -bar-, and add the command prefix be-.
