pas means "so" or "then" and connects a situation to a result or instruction. You could absolutely use banâbarin (therefore) instead, but pas is shorter and much more natural in everyday, casual conversation, especially before a simple command.

The English translation says "conditions are", but the Persian uses the singular verb ast (is). Why?
