Why is the present tense geef used here when the English translation says "will give"?
In Dutch, it is very common to use the present tense to talk about the future, as long as there is a time word that makes the future context clear. Here, the word morgen (tomorrow) tells us it happens in the future, so you don't need a future helper verb like zullen.
Why doesn't the Dutch sentence use a word for "to" before hem?
You can leave out the preposition aan (to) when the indirect object, the person receiving the action like hem, does not need special emphasis. You could say Ik geef het morgen aan hem, but dropping aan and placing hem right after het is very natural and common.
Why is the word order het hem (it him) instead of hem het (him it)?
