### Different Subject: The Verbal Noun (-mAsI)

When a sentence describes one party taking action so that *someone else* can achieve a goal, the subjects are different. In this case, you cannot use the full infinitive. Instead, you must build a possessive phrase using a verbal noun:

- The subject of the goal takes the genitive case (e.g., *personelin*, *doktorların*).
- The verb uses the short infinitive **-mA** (**-ma** / **-me**).
- The verb then takes a possessive suffix to match its subject (usually **-sI** / **-si** / **-su** / **-sü**).
