Expressing Purpose with เพื่อให้
When you perform an action so that someone else can do something (or so a specific result can happen), use the conjunction เพื่อให้.
This word combines เพื่อ (for the purpose of) and ให้ (to let/allow), capturing the idea of acting to enable another person or thing.

To use it, place เพื่อให้ between the action you take and the outcome you want to enable. Notice how the subject changes after the conjunction:

Multiple Actions in the Purpose Clause
The outcome following เพื่อให้ is not limited to a single action. You can link multiple verbs with และ (and) to show several things the other person will now be able to do.
