Why is there an accent mark on Estudié?
In the preterite (completed past) tense, regular -ar verbs like estudiar always take an accented -é in the yo (I) form. This accent is crucial because it shows that the action happened in the past and tells you to put the spoken emphasis on that final syllable.
Why aren't historia and matemáticas capitalized?
