Questions & Answers about Debes usar el cerebro.
Why isn't there a que between debes and usar?
Does debes mean "you must" or "you should"?
It can be both! In the present tense, debes expresses a strong piece of advice ("you should") or a personal obligation ("you must"). If a speaker wants to make the advice sound a bit softer or more polite, they might use the conditional form deberías (you should/ought to), but debes is perfectly normal for direct, everyday advice.
The English translation says "your brain", so why does the Spanish use el cerebro (the brain) instead of tu cerebro?
In Spanish, it is standard to use definite articles (el, la, los, las) instead of possessive words (mi, tu, su) when talking about body parts. Since the verb debes already tells us that "you" are the one doing the action, it is completely clear whose brain is being talked about!
