### How is the Weather?

To ask about or describe the weather, you will use the feminine noun **vremea** (the weather).

### Warm and Cold

When describing temperatures generally, you can use the word **cald** (warm). However, because **vremea** is a feminine noun, you must use the feminine form **caldă** when describing the weather directly. The adjective **rece** (cold) has the same form for both masculine and feminine nouns.

### The Sun and the Wind

The Romanian word for "the sun" is **soarele**, and "the wind" is **vântul**. Both of these have the definite article ("the") attached to the end.
