Questions & Answers about Tu comes o queijo com o pão?
Why does the verb comer (to eat) end in -es here?
The English translation starts with "Do you...", but where is "do" in the Portuguese sentence?
Portuguese doesn't use helper words like "do" or "does" to make questions. You just use the exact same word order as a regular statement (Tu comes means "You eat") and simply raise the pitch of your voice at the end.
Can I leave out the word tu?
