Bere (to drink) is one of a few verbs that have a special "double-R" stem in the future tense. Instead of using a regular stem, it changes to berr-. To say "we will drink", you just attach the standard noi future ending -emo to that stem, giving you berremo. How does the phrase non ... più work to mean "not anymore"?

In Italian, you create the meaning of "not anymore" or "no longer" by placing non before the verb and più immediately after it. So, non berremo più literally means "not we will drink more". This is a standard two-part negative structure, much like non ... mai (never).

Why is alcol spelled without an "h" and only one "o"?

While it looks very similar to the English word, alcol has been adapted to Italian spelling rules.
