Why is it está and not é?
Portuguese usually uses estar for a temporary state, condition, or situation, and ser for something more permanent or defining.
In Tudo está no lugar, the idea is that everything is in its proper place right now. That is a condition or arrangement, so estar is the natural choice.
- está = is from estar
- é = is from ser
Using é here would sound unnatural in normal Portuguese.
