• Rigardu tiun ruĝan libron sur la tablo!: Look at that red book on the table!
• Mi amas tiun amikon.: I love that friend.
• La kuracisto donas al mi tiun medikamenton por ke mi pli rapide resaniĝu.: The doctor gives me that medicine so that I may recover more quickly.
• Mi neniam memoras la vojon al tiu hotelo, do mi ĉiam rigardas la mapon.: I never remember the way to that hotel, so I always look at the map.
• Tiu solvo estas bona por ni.: That solution is good for us.
• Tamen hodiaŭ ni devas ŝanĝi tiun kutimon, ĉar ni ne havas sufiĉe da tempo.: However, today we have to change that habit, because we do not have enough time.
• Prenu kiun ajn kuleron vi volas, sed uzu tiun pladon por la fromaĝo.: Take whichever spoon you want, but use that plate for the cheese.
• Mi transiras la straton ĉe tiu angulo, ĉar la vendejo estas dekstre.: I cross the street at that corner, because the shop is on the right.
