• Kad budeš kupio mrkvu na tržnici, uzmi i malo luka.: When you buy carrots at the market, also take a bit of onion.
• Češalj je u torbi; uzela sam ga jer se često češljam u tramvaju.: The comb is in the bag; I took it because I often comb my hair on the tram.
• Na polici je bila prašina, pa sam uzela krpu i mokru spužvu.: There was dust on the shelf, so I took a cloth and a wet sponge.
