Why are vous and nous right next to each other?
In French, object pronouns like nous (to us) go right before the verb, not after it like in English. Here, vous is the subject (you) and nous is the indirect object receiving the advice. Literally, the sentence is structured as "You to us advise this medication?"
Is nous a direct or indirect object here?
