Why is it J'ai instead of Je ai?
When the pronoun je (I) comes before a word starting with a vowel sound, like the a in ai, the e is dropped and replaced with an apostrophe. This makes pronunciation smoother. So, Je ai becomes J'ai.
Why does the second sentence start with Elle if we are talking about a tablet?
