Questions & Answers about تیم مهندسی ارتفاع را تغییر داد، زیرا خطرناک بود.
Is zirâ different from chon, which we learned earlier for "because"?
Both words mean "because" and act the same way grammatically, followed by normal indicative tenses like the simple past used here (bud). However, zirâ is slightly more formal or used in writing, whereas chon is very common in everyday spoken Farsi.
Why is there no word for "it" in the second part of the sentence (zirâ khatarnâk bud)?
Farsi often drops subject pronouns when the context makes it clear. You do not need an extra word for "it" because the sentence naturally points back to the height (ertefâ') being dangerous.
Does adding zirâ change the word order of the verb?
No, it does not. Just like in English, zirâ connects two standard clauses. The verb bud (was) still goes at the very end of its own clause, right after the adjective khatarnâk (dangerous).
How does the object marker râ interact with the verb taghyir dâd here?
taghyir dâd (changed) is a compound verb. The direct object receiving the action is ertefâ' (the height). Because we are talking about a specific height, it takes the definite object marker râ. The structure is simply [specific object] + râ + [verb].
