How does the word برایت work in this sentence?
برایت is made of the preposition برای (barây-e, meaning for) and the attached pronoun suffix ـَت (-at, meaning you or your). Instead of using the separate pronoun and saying برای تو (barây-e to), we attach the suffix directly to the preposition to mean for you.
Why does the sentence use the full pronoun in بدون او (without him) instead of attaching a suffix?
Both are grammatically correct! You could absolutely say بدونش (bedun-ash) to mean without him, using the suffix ـَش (-ash). Using the independent pronoun او (u) here just puts a little more emphasis on the person: without HIM.
