In Dutch, when you are talking about something happening at a specific time in the future (meaning 'X amount of time from now'), you use over. If you used in drie weken, it would mean the action takes three entire weeks to complete, rather than happening three weeks from today.

Why is the verb kopen placed before the subject we?

Because the sentence starts with the time phrase Over drie weken. In Dutch, the conjugated verb must always be in the second position in a main clause. When a time phrase takes the first position, the verb comes next, pushing the subject to the third position. This is called inversion.

Why is it grote with an extra -e instead of just groot?
