Questions & Answers about Otomasyon, üretimi çok daha ucuz ve hızlı kılıyor.
Why use kılıyor here instead of yapıyor?
The verb kılmak is a formal auxiliary that means to render or to make something into a state. While you could say yapıyor (makes), kılıyor sounds much more professional and academic. It is highly common in business, technical, or formal writing to describe a significant change in state.
Why does üretim (production) take the accusative case to become üretimi?
It is the direct object of the verb kılıyor. The automation is rendering the production cheaper and faster. When an abstract concept or general noun like üretim is the specific target of a state-changing verb, it takes the definite accusative -i ending.
Does the modifier çok daha apply to both adjectives here?
Yes, çok daha (much more) applies to the entire connected phrase ucuz ve hızlı (cheap and fast). You do not need to repeat it as çok daha ucuz ve çok daha hızlı; grouping them with ve naturally distributes the modifier to both adjectives.
Why is there a comma after Otomasyon?
In Turkish, a comma is frequently placed right after the subject to clearly separate it from the rest of the sentence, especially when it is immediately followed by a direct object like üretimi. It helps the reader instantly parse who is doing the action versus what is receiving it.
