Questions & Answers about Mutlaka bize gel.
Could I use kesinlikle instead of mutlaka here?
You will be understood, but mutlaka sounds much more natural for a command or strong advice. Mutlaka has a feeling of "without fail" or "make sure you do this". Kesinlikle is better for stating facts you are certain about, like "I absolutely agree" (kesinlikle katılıyorum).
Why is it bize instead of just biz?
The word biz means "we" or "us", but the verb gelmek (to come) requires a destination. To say you are coming to a place or to someone, you add the dative case suffix (-e or -a). So biz becomes bize (to us).
Why does the verb gel have no suffixes?
In Turkish, the informal command form (giving an order to a single person you are close to) is exactly the same as the bare verb root. You just drop the -mek or -mak from the dictionary form. So gelmek (to come) simply becomes gel (come!).
Does mutlaka have to be at the beginning of the sentence?
Not strictly, but it is very common to put it at the beginning to set a strong tone right away. You could also say Bize mutlaka gel, which places the emphasis slightly more on the word mutlaka because it sits directly in front of the verb.
