Why do we use "daha" here instead of adding an ending to the word for light?
In English, we sometimes add "-er" to make a comparison (lighter, faster) and sometimes use "more" (more expensive). Turkish is much simpler! You always just put daha (more) in front of the adjective. So daha hafif literally means "more light."
