Questions & Answers about El falsificador imitó los colores, que yo sepa.
Why is sepa in the subjunctive here?
The phrase que yo sepa is a fixed expression meaning "as far as I know" or "to my knowledge." It uses the subjunctive (sepa) because it expresses a limitation on your knowledge, leaving room for doubt or the possibility that you might be wrong.
Can I put que yo sepa at the beginning of the sentence instead of the end?
Do I have to include the pronoun yo in que yo sepa?
Yes, in this specific formulaic expression, the yo is almost always included. Even though Spanish normally drops subject pronouns when the subject is obvious, fixed phrases like que yo sepa keep their exact structure.
