Why is it no hagas instead of no haces?
To tell someone not to do something (a negative command), Spanish uses a different ending. Instead of the regular present tense haces, negative tú commands swap their vowels. For an ER verb like hacer, you use an -as ending.
Where does the g in hagas come from?
Hacer is an irregular verb. To build its negative command, you must start with the yo form of the present tense, which is hago. You drop the -o and add the negative command ending (-as) to get hagas.
Why is the word order hagas público tu perfil instead of putting the adjective at the end?
When you say you are making something a certain way (like making it public), Spanish often places the adjective immediately after the verb. The literal word order here is "Don't make public your profile."
