Construir: Full Conjugation

Construir means "to build" or "to construct." It belongs to the -uir family (verbs ending in a vowel + -uir), which insert a y between the stem and any ending that would otherwise begin with an unstressed i. This affects the present indicative (except nosotros), the present subjunctive, the third-person preterite, the imperfect subjunctive, the imperative, and the gerund.
